This beautiful fall wedding day at Mount Langham was one of the days that I had been counting down to for the longest time! When I had originally talked to Lauren after getting engaged, she told me all about her vision of an outdoor wedding. The vision was clear, and I began to picture exactly what the day could look like. After some soul searching, Lauren came across Mount Langham and was instantly hooked. I remember the texts she sent me when she was so blown away that this vision was actually coming true.

This Wedding day would be the third time that I had these two in front of my camera. Nick and Lauren did two engagement sessions, one on the coldest day of the year which you can see here. When wedding day came, it was a beautiful morning. The weather was perfect, the air was calm but there was rain on the way. Of course we just waited it out and kept hoping it would push back at least until everyone was covered at the reception. Well just like any other Wedding Day, it worked out. There were a few sprinkles during photos and the ceremony but the full rain held off until everyone was covered and enjoying dinner and dancing. You obviously never know what to expect when you have an outdoor wedding, no matter the season or the month, the chance is always there. If you have a vision, stick with it. It all works out, every single time as long as you have a backup in place. This venue was absolutely stunning and everything you could want out of an outdoor ceremony location.
