Friends, in the city, on the lake, celebrating life, having fun. My kind of session right there.
I had so much fun with Ryan and Sam as we explored the city a bit for their anniversary session. They have been married for 5 years and have two angel babies, but this time it was just about the two of them. Left the kids at home and just let loose on the lakeside. Not to mention they’re two of our good friends and any chance I get to photograph friends and have a night out, IM IN! Especially if it means we stop at Portillos on our way home every time.
Listen, I’m not much of a City kind of girl. I like my small town living kinda life. But I will shoot in the city every single day because that lake, that view, the colors, the light, the beaches, the breeze. I mean, give me all of it every single day (for a few hours) and then send me back home to my small town and I’m happy as pie.
I have had a lot of inquiries lately for an Anniversary Session and I am 100% here for that celebration! It seems like way too often, couples get married and then focus on starting their family and feel like everything has to be about the family after that. Thats not true, so not true. Don’t forget about the two of you. If it wasn’t for the love and marriage between the two of you, the family wouldn’t be established. So celebrate the relationship. Take the vacations, have the date nights, Take the pictures, hire a photographer (right here y’all) and don’t forget to document the season of life you’re in.
And in case you didn’t catch the drift …. more sessions in the city please.
