Summer Wedding Day at Miller Farms Barn in Gifford, IL

Jesse and MaryJane had their reception at the Miller Farms Barn in Gifford, IL which is a small town just outside of Champaign. This was the venues FIRST WEDDING! I was so honored to be a part of this day with them as well, they have such great visions for this Barn and I hope I get to photograph more weddings there in the future.

I first met Jesse and MaryJane in the summer of 2019 for their engagement pictures. You can see that session here if you want to reminisce. They were one of my couples that I had no connections with prior to them booking with me. But once we met for the engagement session, I knew instantly that they were the exact kind of couple that I wanted to work with. Their visions and style, their love, their kindness, it was all a perfect match for what I had envisioned in my head. Fast forward to June 2019, and their Wedding Day did not fall short of my expectations.

MaryJane comes from a large family filled with the most beautiful sisters and handsome brothers, all of them with tremendous personality and heart. Seeing them all together and the way they interacted was so intriguing. How could this many sisters get along so well? haha. I mean, I’m sure it hasn’t always been perfect at every moment, but you wouldn’t know that watching the way these girls took care of their MJ on the most important day of her life.

From Jesse’s parents, to all of the family and friends involved in this day, I was surrounded with the most kind, southern hospitality I could ask for. I say southern hospitality even though, yes we are in Illinois, but if you know this family then you know exactly what I mean.
